Join us at The Creative Craft Show 2026 for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to the beautiful Japanese art of Kinusaiga. Whether you’ve never picked up a craft knife before or you’re an experienced crafter looking to try something new, our friendly workshop is designed for all abilities.
During your session, you’ll be guided step-by-step by the Kinusaiga Kits team as you create your very own stunning fabric artwork to take home. No sewing experience is required and all materials are provided, making this the perfect opportunity to discover a unique and rewarding craft in a welcoming environment.
Our workshops are intentionally kept to small groups so that everyone receives plenty of individual guidance and leaves with a finished piece they’re proud of.

Not at all. Our workshops are designed specifically for beginners as well as those with crafting experience. We'll guide you through every step of the process.
What is included in the workshop?
Your booking includes all materials, expert tuition and your completed Kinusaiga artwork to take home. Everything you need will be provided on the day.
How long does the workshop last?
Each workshop lasts approximately 45–60 minutes, giving you plenty of time to complete your project in a relaxed and enjoyable environment while receiving individual guidance from our instructors.
What is Kinusaiga?
Kinusaiga is a beautiful Japanese-inspired art form that creates stunning fabric pictures without any sewing. Carefully selected fabrics are tucked into precision-cut boards to produce colourful, textured artwork that anyone can enjoy creating.
Can I take my artwork home?
Absolutely. Every participant leaves with their completed Kinusaiga artwork to display at home, together with the confidence and inspiration to continue enjoying this relaxing craft.
What should I bring?
Nothing at all. We provide everything you'll need during the workshop. We simply recommend arriving around 10 minutes before your session begins so you can check in and get settled.
Are places limited?
Yes. Workshop places are intentionally limited to ensure every participant receives plenty of individual guidance throughout the session. We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
If your plans change, please contact us as soon as possible. Booking amendments and cancellations will be handled in accordance with our booking terms and we'll always do our best to help wherever possible.
Is this suitable for children?
Our workshops are suitable for adults and older children aged 6 years and above when accompanied by a responsible adult. If you're unsure whether the workshop is suitable for your child, please contact us before booking and we'll be happy to advise.
